13th Annual Art of BBQ

The Art of BBQ is one of the most popular competitions of its kind in Oklahoma. The event is celebrating its 13th year, supporting the Arts and Humanities Council of Tulsa, and proceeds from the event go to help the Arts-in-the-School program. Oklahoma Central Credit Union is proud to be the main sponsor of this great event for the fifth consecutive year.

Rockets Over Rhema 2010

Rockets Over Rhema is a wonderful, patriotic celebration usually held on or around July 4th. Oklahoma Central has been a sponsor of this event for many years. This family-friendly day of activities, including free, live concerts and a spectacular fireworks display, is attended by tens of thousands of participants from Broken Arrow and surrounding communities.

Tulsa Shock

As one of the founding sponsors, Oklahoma Central proudly welcomed Nolan Richardson and the Tulsa Shock WNBA basketball team to their new home. This is the Shock’s inaugural season in Tulsa, and the Shock is Tulsa’s first national sports franchise. In addition to their performance on the court, the Shock is committed to giving back to the community, including programs working with our youth. Go Shock!

9th Annual Bixby BBQ & Music Festival

This year marked the ninth annual Bixby BBQ and Music Festival presented by the Rotary Club of Bixby. It is one of the biggest BBQ competitions in the state. Oklahoma Central has been associated with this family event for the last several years and sponsored the Kids Zone at the 2010 festival. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club’s national and international community programs.

University of Tulsa

The Tulsa University Golden Hurricane has teamed up with Oklahoma Central over the past four years. Oklahoma Central is a proud sponsor of both the football and basketball programs. Located in the heart of Tulsa, the university’s long tradition of both athletic and academic achievements make them a vital part of this region’s future. Oklahoma Central wishes them luck in the upcoming 2010-2011 seasons. GO CANE!
