Community Involvement Oklahoma Central participates in or is a sponsor of the following Events, Schools, Organizations, Fundraisers and Teams:
2007 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Art of BBQ in Tulsa, and the second consecutive year Oklahoma Central is the primary sponsor. The official web site says it best: "The Art of Barbeque is one of Oklahoma’s most popular contests. Over 75 teams, from Arkansas, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma compete for the Grand Championship prize of $1200, plus an entry to attend the National Championship Cook-off, The American Royal, held every October in Kansas City, MO." Partners in Education Oklahoma Central has won the Dora Maxwell award for the past 5 consecutive years for outstanding achievement in a socially responsible program amongst Oklahoma credit unions. Oklahoma Central sponsors the following local area schools:
